Online applications are invited from category wise candidates in the following details for filling up the posts of various cadres of Rajkot Municipal Corporation. For this the candidate has to login to rmc.gov.in from 26/07/2024 to 09/08/2024 (23.59 hours) and apply. Also, the last date for online fee payment will be up to 09/08/2024 (23.59 hours).
Post : Junior Pharmacist Ayurveda
Qualification : Diploma Pharmacy in Ayurvedic

Pay Scale : Fixed Pay Rs.26,000/- for five years and after five years of satisfactory service taking into account the requirement of the post in pay matrix as per 7th Pay Commission, Level-II. Rs.19900-63200/- will be considered.
Age Limit : 18 to 33 years
Computer Subject Qualification
As per provision of rule-8(1A) of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment General Rules-1967, certificate of having basic knowledge of computer applications has to be submitted. Government General Administration Department Resolution No. dated 13/08/2008: CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5. The course mentioned in the attached sheet-1 is declared as Basic Knowledge of Computer. Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.
Citizenship : A candidate for admission to the examination must be (a) a citizen of India or (b) a citizen of Nepal (c) a citizen of Bhutan or (d) an exile from Tibet who came to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently residing in India or (f) Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East An Indian person who has migrated from African countries - Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, Zer, Ethiopia, United, Republic of Tanzania, with the intention of permanent residence in India, but category (b) to (f) persons are eligible from Gujarat Govt. Only those who have obtained the certificate will be eligible for appointment. Candidates for this post should be native of Gujarat state and domicile of Gujarat state.
Important tips for candidates to keep in mind while applying online
• The details filled by the candidate in the online application form will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and the original (including attested copies) will have to be submitted when the Rajkot Municipal Corporation asks for the proof. If any change or difference is found in the details and proofs filled in the online application form during verification, the candidature will be considered void.
• Candidates belonging to unreserved category have to pay Rs.500/- (five hundred whole) as application fee while other category candidates have to pay Rs.250/-(two hundred and fifty) as application fee. This application fee will be accepted only and only through online/net banking. After paying the application fee, the candidate can submit his application no. And the transaction ID must be preserved. No refund will be given after payment of application fee. Application without payment of fee will be liable to be cancelled. Candidates who do not pay the application fee will not be allowed to appear for any written test/screening test/oral interview in the procedure to be prescribed by the appointing authority.
• Passport size photograph uploaded by the candidate in the online application form, additional copies of the photograph
• Must carry and produce the same photograph at the time of recruitment process (written test/interview/etc.).
• Will have to do. If any candidate makes more than one application for the same post, the Rajkot Municipal Corporation will have the authority to decide on the cancellation of their application/applications.
• Age, qualification and experience will be considered as on the last date of acceptance of online application. If the grade is mentioned in the mark sheet, degree certificate, its equivalent in percentage should be furnished the conversion table of the recognized university.
• Experience will be considered only after obtaining the educational qualification/degree as sought in the advertisement. Previous experience will not be considered under any circumstances. At the time of verification of original certificates, the candidate will have to produce the certificate with inward/outward number and date of the recognized organization along with the details of the experience (days, months, years) and type of duties performed/experience gained in support of the experience mentioned in the application. Offer letter or appointment letter alone shall not be considered as proof of experience but if it is accompanied by gratuity or promotion order issued by the organization from time to time, salary related evidence or other supporting evidence, such experience shall be deemed valid after sufficient scrutiny. will come
• Employees working in Rajkot Municipal Corporation have to produce last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates. Apart from this, if you have served more than one post, you must submit a copy of the promotion or selection order.
• The reserved caste candidate has to submit a certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government regarding his caste (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Socio-Educationally Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section (EWS)) as per the pattern prescribed by the Government of Gujarat.
• Relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit will be given in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Socio-Educationally Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) natives of Gujarat. No benefit regarding reservation will be available on the basis of the above caste certificate issued by any state other than the state of Gujarat.
• Originally reserved caste candidate of Gujarat should apply on reserved seat or non-reserved seat? It has to be clearly mentioned in the online application form and if the reserved caste candidates originally from Gujarat apply on the non-reserved seat then the norms applicable to the candidates on the non-reserved seat will be applicable to such candidates.
• Upper age limit for all categories of candidates with all relaxations should not in any case exceed 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application, except in the employment of Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
• A submission to change the category later on in the caste (category) indicated by the candidate in the online application will not be entertained.
• No written correspondence will be sent to the candidates regarding the recruitment process of the post. To be noted, candidates are requested to visit the Rajkot Municipal Corporation website http://www.rmc.gov.in for further information regarding the recruitment process for this post.
• Candidates have to appear for the written test/interview at their own expense.
• The rights of the selection process shall rest with the Staff Selection Committee/Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Municipal Corporation as determined by the competent authority and the decision of this Committee/Municipal Commissioner shall be final.
• The selected candidate will be subject to such conditions as may be decided by the appointing authority.
• If the candidate has given any details wrongly in the online application or any information is found to be wrong at any stage of the recruitment process, his application will be rejected at that stage and even if he has obtained the passing standard, his candidature will be considered cancelled. Also in future if the date of birth, educational qualification, age, caste, experience and other evidence submitted by the candidate at the time of appointment is found to be wrong or suspicious, appropriate legal action will be taken against him and the appointment will be made by selection of such candidate. The appointment will be canceled at any stage.
• Pressure brought directly or indirectly on the members of the Staff Selection Committee will result in disqualification of the candidate.
• If there is a need to cancel or modify the advertisement given for any reason, Rajkot Municipal Corporation shall have full right/authority to do so and Rajkot Municipal Corporation shall not be bound to give reasons for the same.
• The process of filling up the vacant posts will be subject to the roster rule of the time.
• Taking into account the number of applications in the advertisement, the decision of the Municipal Commissioner whether to consider all the candidates for further recruitment process or to shortlist them on merit basis for further recruitment process/written test/practical test/online test will be final. Further, the written/online examination in case of written examination may be conducted through reputed institute in more than one session/different question sets under different question papers if necessary. Candidates will not be able to make any dispute regarding this.
• Taking into account the number of applications in the advertisement, the decision of the Municipal Commissioner to decide the policy regarding the acceptance of the candidates for the further recruitment process will be final.
